Con i suoi 1015 m s.l.m. è la cima più alta della Valmorea. Ricca di fauna e vegetazione, ospita il Rifugio del Gruppo Antincendio Val Ceresio, che saltuariamente si apre al pubblico. 

È possibile raggiungerla da Viggiù e da Monte Orsa, attraverso itinerari turistici e, volendo, in escursioni organizzate. Lungo il sentiero si potranno scorgere residui bellici di trincee, postazioni per mitragliatrici e ricoveri della Linea Cadorna.
